It Started With A Kiss (ISWAK), my most favorite taiwanese drama, is one of MBC's upcoming soaps to air in korea soon. their version is entitled Playful Kiss (the korean adaptation of the Japanese manga Itarazura Na Kiss). there has been several rumors saying that LeeMinHo would probably get the lead role, Naoki Irie (Jiang Zhi Shu in the taiwanese version, portrayed by Joe Cheng). now all those rumors have finally ended... i saw this news in my twitter account tweeted by ALLKPOP...

"Lee Minho’s reps has made it clear today that he will not be taking a role in an upcoming drama titled Playful Kiss. This drama made headlines just yesterday when it was revealed that Kim Hyun Joong might be in it.

Lee Minho’s company said on the 7th, “We don’t know anything about him getting cast in Playful Kiss. It’s true that we had communicated with Playful Kiss awhile ago. But that is all. He has no plans of being in it.”

Lee Minho said himself in a press conference awhile ago that he will not be appearing in the drama. I guess he has something else in mind.

We do wish that the producers, Group Eight can quickly settle on a cast because the rumors are all pretty unsettling and making fans anxious."

i have to admit that i was a little sad.. i was kind of hoping to see minho as naoki/zhishu because i'm so in love with the lead's character in this drama, coz he's just so perfect for the role.. super good looking with the super "angas" factor.. oh well.. i guess it's just not meant to be..

but kim hyun joong to play for the role, isn't a bad idea at all.. but i think they would still need to look for someone who looks more snobbish because that's how the lead should look like.. super snobbish campus heart throb and genius.. for me, hyun joong looks like a super nice guy who won't break a girl's heart.. i think.. i guess we'll have to wait and see how he acts the role if ever he gets it. =)

the “soo-in” gloves — i said to myself on my way home yesterday that i’ll be doing my minho-marathon (personal taste) since ‘twas my off yesterday and today.. but guess what? i haven’t even started until now.. well i guess i’ll have to postpone my minho-marathon til my next off coz i’ll be back to work tomorrow night.. yay!

why? simply because i’m still stuck with kang hyun soo and seo jung in of smile honey.. i’ve been watching their videos in youtube over and over again.. i even replayed some scenes in my dvd.. just can’t get enough of them..

and this is what i really missed the most — the “soo-in” gloves..

i so miss watching this couple.. soo-in (kang hyun soo & seo jung in) of smile honey (smile, you), as portrayed by jeong kyeong ho and lee min jeong, respectively..

they are just one of the few love teams with that undeniably bright “spark” between them. (i’ve watched tons of korean and taiwanese dramas but have seen just less than a handful of tandems that really click and look good together..) their chemistry is so strong that everything seems so real.. like they’re no longer acting their scenes. i really wish to see more of them together in a drama or movie.. am really their fan!!! =)

just finished watching 45 chapters/episodes of the korean drama Smile, You (Smile Honey).. this is the first time i watched a drama this long, but surprisingly, i never got tired and i never lost interest from start until the very last episode. i laughed a lot, cried a lot and fell in love several times. the chemistry between Jeong Kyeong Ho (Kang Hyun Soo) and Lee Min Jeong (Seo Jeong In) is undeniably great, it seemed so real, i love it! ahihihi ^_^ now i'm hoping to see more of them in a drama.

Lee Min Jeong is now officially one of my favorite korean actresses... she really did a great job in this drama! ;) and Jeong Kyeong Ho oppa... i'm just so mesmerized by you! joaheyo! he isn't that gorgeous (well, not my usual type) but the more i look at him (especially his face), there is really this irresistible charm that i'm left craving for more of him..

those 45 long hours were definitely worth all the eyebags.. i usually watch dramas during my off, but for this drama, i wasn't able to resist watching everyday after coming back from work. i just so love it! another beautiful drama has been added on my list of favorite korean dramas..

scary fire alarm

it's 7 in the morning.. just 30 minutes before i log out, the avaya voice prompt "CVS" played so i answered with our opening spiel...

shortly after, the fire alarm continuously rang for a reason nobody knows.. i was thinking that it was just a fire drill so i continued my conversation with my caller.. everything was fine until we noticed a thin sheet of smoke slowly rising and filling the ceiling of the operations floor.. i was still not completely aware of what's happening around as i have someone on the line with me but the alarm did not stop for several minutes, i was already documenting my call to be forwarded as a case to our back office team when i saw everyone running out of the ops area.. then one of the trainers approached me and told me it's time to leave the vicinity because of the thickening smoke.. this was the only time when i suddenly felt the panic.. the fear of suffocation, getting trapped in the ops floor and getting trapped in an elevator that won't go down... there's just about 4 of us left in the ops, i wasn't able to get back to my caller and i wasn't able to submit the case.. i immediately grabbed my things and my head set and went straight to the elevator lobby to go down..

after a few minutes, the security guards informed our manager that the smoke that scared everyone turned out to be some freon leaking from the air conditioner.. that really scared the hell out of me!!! really scary!

(this happened only this morning.. another unforgettable day... whew!)

Korean actor Lee Min-ho will hold a fan meeting on June 20, according to his agency Starhaus Entertainment on Thursday.

Starhaus announced through a press release that the actor will meet with his fans at the event titled "2010, The Special Day with Minoz" at the Grand Peace Palace located in Kyung Hee University in June.

The event will be attended by some 4,500 fans from both Korea and overseas to celebrate Lee's birthday on June 22 and the second anniversary of his fan club.

Lee had raised anticipation for the upcoming fan meeting after leaving a message on his official site on the last day his latest drama "Personal Preference" aired: "Thank you for everything that you have done and I hope we can spend a great time at my fan meeting".

Tickets for his 2,500-seat fan meeting last year sold out in just one minute of going on sale. Korean celebrities Kim Soo-ro, Kim Hyun-joong, Kim Gi-bang, K.Will, Park Bo-yeong and idol group T-Max had made special guest appearances.

Tickets for Lee's upcoming fan meeting will be available at online reservation site Auction today at 5 p.m.

Lee, 22, rose to fame in Korea and throughout Asia starring in last year's hit KBS series "Boys over Flowers".

In "Personal Preference", which ended its run last Thursday, he played a man pretending to be gay to live with a female roommate, alongside Korean actress Son Ye-jin.

i'm so sick

gosh! it's been more than a month since i was able to publish my last post...

well, i was kinda busy with work, the requirements and the summer outings.. hehe ^_^

i must say, this is the only summer season where i really felt what the word summer meant.. i was able to attend to 3 summer outings for 3 consecutive weeks.. first was in zambales, we went island hopping on 3 islands, the last stop was ANAWANGIN on april 25, then the following week was in Puerto Galera (may 1 to 2) then the following week in Jed's Island Resort in Bulacan with my family. so, can you imagine how tan i am now? but it's all worth it! haha :D

i've been taking in calls for more than a month now and i still feel there's a whole lot more to learn.. yes, i did learn a lot from training, there was actually so much information from our trainer.. as in information overload till the very end.. but as days pass by, there's always something new to grasp.. as in for every single day i always something new to learn.. just don't know how much more can be absorbed by my brain, coz all four lobes have been overloaded.. haha :D

by the way, i'm sick.. according to my doctor, this is acute pharyngitis with laryngitis.. sa madaling salita, PAOS na PAOS ako.. as in my voice is gone.. i was absent yesterday and maybe later too.. coz i still can't find my voice.. the last time i had it was last tuesday afternoon.. and i'm hoping to have it back tomorrow.. coz my trainer and tl will sure kill me for not returning back to work soon.. waaaaahhhh!!!

just for the record, this is the only time, after almost 2 years, that i wasn't able to report for work.. the last time was during my granny's funeral in september 2008.. and i kinda feel bad because i have this feeling that some people think i'm absent just because of pure laziness.. i really hate it!!!

traning has started..

training just started last tuesday... so far, so good naman...

but i'm still annoyed of all the requirements to be submitted.. if you can just imagine the horror of getting all those documents before the start of the orientation.. there's not just one, not even two or three.. there's about 15 documents for set 1 and 5 more document for set 2.. like what the #$@%???

we've started classroom training last night, done with the orientation/NHOB (new hire on boarding).. i'm just glad i have this gay friend with me.. from the first day of application, until the final interview and now here in training... coz it's more fun when you have someone you know when you're totally new to the company.. and more fun when it's a gay person.. coz knowing me, i would just be quiet the whole day if i don't know anyone..

and when i say fun, it's really fun! as in my stomach aches because of laughing.. just like what happened before our 2nd day of NHOB ended...

trainer: before you leave, i just have a few announcements.. CVS pips will no longer attend NHOB (new hire on boarding) tomorrow. please go to 5th fl arctic rm in ibmplaza at 9pm..
me: (being a part of the CVS team) ah..
trainer: you JP, meet with your manager..
JP (the french agent): ok
trainer: ..and the remnants of the class..
me: hehe (laughing because of the word "remnant" along with others in the class except my gay friend who was so serious that time..)
trainer: sorry.. i didn't mean to use that word.. others, do you know where you'll go after tomorrow morning?
gay friend: bakit ba kayo tawa ng tawa?
me: eh kasi sabi niya "remnants"..
gay friend: and so? ano ba ibig sabihin nun?
me: ibig sabihin tira-tira.. hehe ;D

then i was laughing my heart out.. and finally my gay friend laughed too.. (kaya naman pala serious at walang reaction si bakla.. wehehehe ^_^ )

this week has really been hectic.. seriously..

i just got my job offer last week and now, i've been so busy getting all those requirements done and submitted.. coz they have this "no document no work" policy.. papers papers papers.. i really hate it!!! waaaaahhhhh i know i should be thankful that i have a new job now and i am.. but there's a part of me who wishes to remain a bum for at least one more month... hehe

who's gonna attend to my farm, cafe and restaurant... for sure i'm gonna have lesser internet time once training starts... and i've heard several feedback that the program i'm gonna be a part of is very toxic and queuing.. i'm hoping it's not.. huhuhu

excited to see BSB..

yes, i'm really so excited to watch the concert this coming saturday.. after 4 long years, BSB (backstreet boys) is coming back to the philippines for their long awaited concert tour.. this is their third time to visit manila and this is my 2nd time watching them (i wasn't able to watch them the first time they came here i think because i don't have money yet and i'm still a student that time.. haha ^_^ )

i'm just a little sad that kevin is no longer a part of the group.. they've been together for almost 17 years (quite long huh?) and this is the only time, the THIS IS US concert tour, that kevin will not join the group. i was able to watch their NEVER GONE concert here in the philippines as well and they still have kevin in the group that time, that was january 20, 2006 if i remember it right.. i thought that was the last time i'll see them so i was almost hysterical when i found out that they're having this concert on february 27, 2010 at the araneta coliseum.

nevertheless, i'm still happy coz i'm gonna see them again after 4 long years.. although a lot has changed, my love for this group will always remain.. NICK, AJ, BRIAN, HOWIE and KEVIN (though he already left) will always be the best boyband for me. and i really don't care about what other people may say.. as in i don't care-eh-eh-eh-eh-eh.. haha ^_^

i've grown up i know, but i think i'll never get tired of listening to them.. from "get down" (1994-1995) to "this is us" (2009-2010).. i'm a fan, will forever be a fan and will always keep the backstreet pride alive..

i love sundays.. really.. they're just so relaxing..
unlike mondays, so stressful.. even now that i don't have work.. hehe ^_^

so far, i'm enjoying my vacation.. sabi nga ng mama ko, 'bakasyon grande' daw ako.. haha well i think my mind is really in vacation mode.. there's no room for any stress.. i'm resigned for almost a month now and i'm loving it. although i can say that somehow, i do miss working.. but that's only because of the payday and the friends i have there, but the work itself? hell no!!! i would rather attend to my restaurant, cafe and farm than work.. nyahaha

but of course i'll be looking for work soon.. i have to find one because my savings account is fast depleting.. hihi ^_^ and i know i'll find one soon. but for now, i'll just enjoy this lazy sunday afternoon.. i may watch a movie later after the sunday mass or just stay home and do a kdrama marathon.. hehe aja! \(^_^)/

this is definitely one of the movies i really can't afford to miss.. honestly, i'm not really a fan of filipino movies.. but if it's from starcinema.. i think it's worth a try.. especially if it stars lloydie and bea... i've been a fan of them for several years now...

John Lloyd Cruz, i've watched him since Tabing Ilog (he was Rovic), then he was Yuri in Kay Tagal Kang Hinintay, Lawrence in It Might Be You, Oliver in Ikaw Ang Lahat Sa Akin, Eli in Maging Sino Ka Man and Armando in I Love Betty La Fea. he is one of abscbn's most promising young actors and has teamed up with several actresses like kaye abad, rica peralejo, sarah geronimo, etc.. but no one has beaten his chemistry with Bea Alonzo.. i don't know if i'm being biased because i'm their fan or if there really is a very bright spark between them two.. when he paired with sarah, i know a lot of people loved that team up but for me it was just a so-so.. it may have been close to what he and bea had but it fell a little short.. well, that's just my opinion so i say peace to all sarah-lloydie fans who may read this one day..

i've just seen the trailer of 'miss you like crazy' so i'm still hyped til now.. not seeing them for almost 3 years was quite a long time so i'm really excited to see this movie.. i really can't wait... lloydie and bea always had this "magic".. since their first movie 'now that i have you' then 'close to you' after that was the blockbuster movie 'one more chance'... then on feb 24, this much awaited movie 'miss you like crazy'.. i'm so sure i'm gonna see the "magic" again because there is always this "kilig" factor whenever i see them in a drama or movie.. ;) i dunno why.. maybe it's just natural.. here's the vid of the trailer from the uploader ABSstarcinema in youtube.. :)

surprisingly, i find lloydie so charming lately.. especially when he performs with the kanto boys in ASAP.. wehehe he's not that gorgeous looking but he's really cute and funny.. i find those qualities really appealing, that if i had to choose between him and dingdong dantes.. i may choose lloydie.. maybe.. hihi ;D

i've seen this commercial a few days back but i never knew that there was this "mini drama" version created for this ad. honestly, i liked it a lot! :) the plot was really nice.. yes, i'm really impressed. it's a little longer but definitely better than the mini drama version of minho & sandara for this same beer...

i struggled for quite a while.. to stay or to leave, that was the question..
but i finally decided to end it all last friday morning, when i signed my resignation letter effective february 10, 2010.

this started more than half a year ago. when our client pulled out from etel, i was still with m&m, the dilemma was whether to stay with etel or accept the rebadge package sykes and wns offered the m&m agents. i chose staying with etel because i believed so much on how this company valued its employees.. well i thought that time it was the right decision. so i stayed..

but m&m had to let go of us before it finally shuts down in october. we transferred to another program in august, this was in shaw. i have written several entries regarding this stressful program, this was where i experienced hell.. i was literally dragging myself to work. i have thought several times of giving up and resigning because of that program.. when suddenly we received a notice that they will transfer us back to rolex.. so i postponed my plan.

we transferred back to rolex and i was happy once again. although i must admit, there has been several changes as well in rolex especially in the higher management team.. but this was way much better than staying there in shaw. this was also the time when the stream and etelecare merger pushed thru which most of us hoped to be for the good of all (but now turns out to be the worst decision etel has made...)

then the last week of january arrived, the annual ramp down started. the program cannot support a lot of high level agents so as we have expected, we were the first in line for transfer. nevertheless, we hoped to be transferred to a different program, not back to hire right. but guess what? they compromised transferring us back to hire right and that was definitely a NO for me.. but guess what again, there was no option to say NO, how's that? no option for LOI not even to float and wait for other programs.. nice huh? being in such a position left me no choice but to resign... that ended my contract with etel, effective at a later date due to my leaves left.. my terminal leave, by the way, was also an issue before i signed my resignation because the higher management did not allow me to consume them at first and told me that by resigning i forfeit all my leaves left.. what the??? thanks to my ever dependable TL who was very angry when he found out what happened and told me not to sign the papers yet last wednesday because he'll talk to them regarding these leaves.. i thank you soooo much!!! :)

a lot of us thought that being a part of this bigger company (stream) would be very beneficial for the etel employees.. but it turned out to be the exact opposite. the so called "merger" seemed to be a "buy out". changes were expected but not to the extent of not leaving any etel trace in the company at all. the infamous culture and values of etelecare are now gone... even the ham and cheese during christmas is gone. attendance policy is totally different, payroll system on a bi-weekly scheme, quarterly PA still in limbo, per minute salary rate applied, finger scan gone, breakfast for the champs i'm sure will be gone soon as well as high flyer bonuses, etc. etc. what else can they take away? there's nothing left... even employee value is no longer felt..

Etelecare International once said "Building an Industry, Building People".
then it became Etelecare Global Solutions and said "World Class World Wide".
then became Stream Global Services saying "BUDGET DRIVEN?"

after 4 years 3 months and 12 days.. i'm ending it all and now i'm free.. from all the stress and dilemmas.. i believe i've endured staying for so long because i'm hopeful of better changes and got nothing but pure disappointment.. now i'm relieved though a little sad as well.. for i will always have the fondest memories of the first company i worked for.. and that's etelecare not stream..

now, i guess it's really time to say goodbye..

After that, he walked to somewhere. Fortunately there were no passers-by on the street, so the anxious situation such as recognizing him or screaming with joy didn't happen.

Even I'd like to get his autograph by myself, but there is more important thing than the signature to the photographer. It's just spot shots.

Since the distance was up close, I shot only a few photos. But it was a lucky day I shot MH's appearance who looked sleepy.

Now LMH is controlling himself on air except CFs and photoshoots. His opinion is to choose the next work more carefully. He said he would let fans see more prepared appearance with exercise and foreign language study during vacation. I hope to see him through TV sooner or later.

i wasn't able to blog for a while... i guess i was a little busy lately.. i was so busy managing my farm, my restaurant and my cafe... as if! haha those are all in facebook... :D

a lot has happened.. several typhoons have swept the country... after ondoy, there was pepeng, ramil, santi and tino... there has been issues regarding dswd hording/keeping the donations given by other countries especially those coming from unicef... there's also an earthquake prediction that i'm really hoping won't hit the philippines... the much awaited roxas-sanchez nuptial has been held... pacquiao has won over cotto.. etc... etc... etc..

oh, and have i mentioned that we've transferred back to rolex? well if not, i just did now.. hihi

yes, we're back finally! yipeeee! after our everyday stressful stay in hireright and after praying so hard each night, we (mommy chix, jenni and i) have finally managed to get out of that freakin' crappy program.. i'm not pertaining to the people there but the program itself.. no offense meant (especially to our friends who are still there... feeling helpless and trapped.. hihi peace! :D) but i really hate that program.. i got nothing but stress and headache in each and every shift i attended.. so wasted.. i wanted to get out of that program so badly that i was so willing to transfer anywhere.. i've thought of transferring to the QA team, PAC/workforce, etc... definitely anywhere just as long as i find my way out of that program... as in super desperate to the nth level!!! so when i finally got out, i can't help but feel so lucky!!! but wait, there's more... not only did we get out of that crappy program, we also transferred back to rolex and that's a super duper bonus! wooohoooo! :)

sigh... so where am i now? hmmm... i took over rolex mailbox for a month while junis conducted training to the newbies.. and yes, i've also had lots of stress and headache managing the mailbox alone but that was way much better than staying in hireright.. definitely better!!! yesterday i was back to taking in calls.. so far so good... no escal split yet.. weeee! hihihi :D

i have a shift later.. then the day after is already my off (wednesday).. yey!!! i think i can get back to minho blogging soon.. hopefully.. :)

Typhoon Ondoy

we had a triple bday treat last saturday, september 26, with our officemates in etel... the celebrants are garsha, mommy julie and me... a lot came.. mommy chix, jenni, tricky, ching, tintin, junis, jabo, carlo a.k.a. lloydie and lester. we even got a 5% discount from the manager of seafood island in eastwood, libis. everyone was happy except for the sky who has been crying nonstop since the night before...

when breakfast ended, five of us asked jabo for a ride. batintin will be dropped off in marikina and the four of us (me, mommy chix, jenni and tricky) in batasan, sandiganbayan. on our way out of eastwood, the rain was still heavy.. very very heavy actually.. there was almost zero visibility but we were all decided to go home so we proceeded.

we dropped off batintin in concepcion, marikina. water was, i think, just 6 inches high or just above the ankle that time. but on our way out, water was rising continuously. we had to leave the car at the gas station because have to go somewhere higher. first stop was at the church, we sat there for a while. i was staring blankly at the water that was almost 2 ft high thinking of what should be done.. but i couldn't think of any... the water continued rising so we left and decided to go to batintin's house. that was when i experienced being soaked in a mud colored water that was almost neck deep. we had to walk hand-in-hand in order to not lose anyone because the water current was also strong.

we finally reached batintin's house, after soaking, or should i say swimming for almost 30 minutes. we bathed a little because we were all beginning to feel itchy and our clothes were all wet. i was so shocked as this was the first time i, myself, experienced this.. being almost like a refugee... but i still feel lucky because, at least, we found a place to stay overnight.

we left sunday morning, there were no more floods but there were lots of mud everywhere. there were still a lot of people roaming in the city, looking for a ride home. we were finally able to go home. thanks to jabo's tito and tita who shared a ride to me and mommy chix until we reached the road connecting san mateo to batasan hills. i got home, took a bath, checked my mails and slept after, i was so tired. i woke up at 12 mn and i haven't slept til now so i decided to write this.

this typhoon, is by far, the most devastative one i've seen with my own two eyes... this is the first time i experienced swimming in an almost 5 ft high flood. truly one of the most unforgettable experiences in my life! it plunged majority of the cities in metro manila and left a lot of families homeless... i wasn't able to take pictures myself because i wasn't in the mood, i felt so down that time... but below are pictures i found @ news.xinhuanet.com and news.asiaone.com.. it was so heartbreaking to see people, especially the elderly and the children, walking here and there, to find a better place to stay.. there were many lives lost as well, unfortunately...

weekend again???

whoaaa!!! i really didn't expect it would be this fast.. it's weekend once again and i haven't entered any blog the past days. our first week in ops just passed us by without us noticing it.. maybe because it was holiday last monday that the week seemed shorter.. coz we only had a 4-day shift week.

so how was it? if you're gonna ask me that question, i actually don't know how or what to answer.. i'm not seeing any improvements at all. and i'm so amazed of others who are able to verify a lot.. yes, time passes me by without me noticing it, but it doesn't mean i enjoy what i'm doing... i'm actually beginning to hate it... the reason i'm not noticing time is because there's so much work to do with just so little time given..

this is why i realized that the saying "time flies so fast when you enjoy what you're doing" isn't always true... coz sometimes, time flies fast even when you're not enjoying at all.. to a point that you already hate it, but you don't have a choice so you're stuck with the same crap everyday...

However, when I was in Daegu after an outdoor shooting, I, for the first time, realized that ‘wow, this is not a picnic!'

Q What are the resemble points of Gu Jun-pyo and Lee Min-ho?
LMH The only one point is that we quarrel when we were in love. At first I thought that I could not make it, even during the words practicing I thought it wasn’t good enough. Especially in earlier part which I played impolite role, it was not good and even the director told me I played too kindly again and again. If I have to say one more, I’ll say putting everything of myself in something when I totally soaked.

Q What is the best advantage of Lee Min-ho’s characteristic?
LMH Forgetfulness? I’m optimistic so I try to think positively whatever the situation like.

Q What is your dream character as an actor?
LMH A multiple personality character by Edward Norton in [Primal Fear].

our second week of nesting is finally over... i never thought it would be that fast. i was obviously very busy coz i never had the time to blog during the week days.. see, it's already weekend? on monday were going live in ops.. no longer training and no longer nesting..

whoahhh!!! is this how my week's always gonna end up? yeah it's good that i'm not noticing time while i'm in the office.. but it doesn't mean i'm not doing anything.. it's actually the opposite, we're very very busy in ops, there's so much demand and so many things to do that we're not noticing the time pass by... i don't know if i should consider this good or bad...

LMH of BOF attended 'Dunkin Barista Lecture with Customers' and graced the event with his presence.

Besides, LMH gave the kind appearance to the participants who came to see him shaking coffees and giving them to the people in person.

And to the question of a participant, "What kind of coffee do you enjoy? LMH answered "I sometimes enjoy 'cafe mocha' and 'espresso' coffee. In fact, I am omnivorous", which made the participants burst out laughing.

Meanwhile, LMH's fan meeting was held for about one hour after the 'Barista Open Lecture'. At the fan meeting, LMH had an interview time with his fans (participants) and enjoyed playing various games and events with happier atmosphere than ever. Secret Campus was Lee Min Ho's very first drama... his first acting career started here. since BOF gained so much popularity all over asia, people are getting interested in his previous dramas and movies such as this one, which recently released a japanese version...

Part 1

Q : You debuted with the 'Secret Campus', and how did it feel?
LMH : At my acting debut, I think I was very nervous, totally lost and just busy speaking my lines without any time to breathe. My memory isn't clear on the details, but I think I was so nervous that the shooting was done without my knowing how I was shot.

Q : What was your hardest and enjoyable parts of the shooting?
LMH : The drama had many soccer-playing scenes. So I enjoyed my shooting the most because I like soccer and I'm confident of playing parts like that. As for the difficult parts, it seems that every moment was hard. Once I broke my forefinger while performing a fighting scene with my fist colliding with the other's, and I still remember that. That's why I appear all of a sudden wearing a cast in the later part of the drama, though it wasn't included in the story.

Q : I wonder what you were actually like in high school like the background of 'Secret Campus'
LMH : I also seem to have had not a little rebellion. For example, I don't think that I liked listening to others. But I think I grew up faster, because I didn't make any big trouble when I was in the second and third year of high school. It seems I spent my adolescence very quietly.

Q : Which subject were you good at and poor at when you were in high school(senior high)?
LMH I was good at PE(physical education) and poor at math.

Q : In high school, did you have anyone in mind like whom you did or didn't want to be a person in your future?
LMH : It seems that I didn't want to be the type of adult who talked big or showed off some success of them, but I just wanted to be a quiet and naively honest adult.

Q : You played the role of a student with a dream of being a soccer player. How well did you play soccer?
LMH : When I was in elementary school, there were eleven classes in all. I made the entry list after having selected better soccer players in each class, and they just came along with me without complaining. Whatever I said, there was no one to grumble about me.

Q : Was it because you played soccer well or you were good in fights?
LMH : Maybe because they recognized me as a good soccer player. I've bragged about myself for no reason (feels embarrassed). But I can't play soccer well now.

Q : Then, were you the best soccer player among all students in your elementary school?
LMH Yes, it seemed that I was really good at playing soccer at that time.

Q : The following question your fans are interested in genuinely.... Have you ever dated with anyone when you were in senior high? If yes, what kind of date have you had?
LMH Yes, I have dated with someone during high school. Dare I say how I did, we usually went to the movies. As being high school students, many places were not allowed to go so watching movies were what we did most while dating.

Q wholesomely?
LMH Yes, what we did were wholesome

Q : In the drama, Du-hyeon had something confidential, but I wonder if you have a secret of your own..if you had some secret which you didn't want to tell to others.
LMH : I don't think I had any secret. It seems I'm not the style of having a lot of secrets.

Q : Are you the type of person who tells their friends anything?
LMH : I don't tell everything to my friends, but because I didn't have any particular things I did secretly, it's hard to remember what secret I had from my friends at that time.

Q : You are saying that you didn't really have any secrets, but you don't relatively tell important things to others?
LMH : No, I don't. I don't try to hide them, but I'd rather not tell others about me very often.

Q : Now we'll ask you something personal. Maybe your fans like it better.. Are there any hobbies you often enjoy personally?
LMH : I usually tend to enjoy playing online games. Because I can't go out a lot lately, I mainly enjoy computer games, which I have liked since high school.

Q : Aren't there many kinds of games available like sports and RPG games?
LMH : I prefer RPG, because computer games cause me to desire to win, and I hate to lose. Besides, there are rankings and positions in online games, and once I begin to play an online game, I can't help playing long (to raise my level). Now, I'm trying not to play online games deliberately.

Q : It's possible, I know....
LMH : (laughing) It could be called 'addiction', which seems to make me more competitive; at least, make me not want to lose. When I began playing with someone once, I got a bit tired with the gap getting wider against me

Q : It's not limited to only games, but applies to everything, right?
LMH : Right. Maybe because I played sports in childhood, but I'm relatively competitive in everything.

Q : Do you have any special talent besides soccer and computer games?
LMH : I'm so sociable that I become close to people pretty fast. I'm not really free from being shy, but I think I'm more sociable than ordinary people. Is it sort of special talent, too?

Q This interview is for Japanese fans and are there Japanese words to learn for them nowadays?
LMH : Do-jo Yo-ro-si-ku Oh-ne-ga-yi-si-mas (I expect your favor) Ka-ya-ii(cute, lovely) Da-yi-jo-bo-des(It's alright) I can memorize simple idioms as I speak them.

Q Which country would you like to go among those countries you have never been before?
LMH : Venezia
Q In Italy?
LMH I have heard that Venezia is sinking. Is it true?
Q I have heard it before ,too
LMH Before Venezia sinks, I'd like to go. I also want to go to Las Vegas.
Q Haven't you been Italy?
LMH No, I haven't.

Q Which food do you frequently eat recently?
LMH I frequently eat bean-paste pot stew and kimchi pot stew. For health reason, I also eat beef.

Q Do you like meat?
LMH When I eat at home, I always eat more than one kind of meat.

Q Do you know how to cook?
LMH I can cook several kinds of food.

Q What are they?
LMH I am good at cooking kimchi pot stew, rameon(Korean noodle), fried egg rice and fried Kimchi rice ^^

Q If your girlfriend come to your place, what food can you confidently make for her?
LMH : I'm confident of cooking ramyeon (laughs a lot), because chances are I won't fail. I can succeed 100 %. If I cook a big dish, it will be fried rice.

Q : This time, what is the dish you want your girlfriend to fix for you?
LMH : Just a few side dishes and rice...like those my mother makes.

Q : Then, you mean just a warm meal rather than a luxurious meal?
LMH : Yes. It's okay if it's not delicious, but it'll be better if it is.

Q : Won't it more difficult to make side dishes?
LMH : Yes, I think so. (laughs a lot)

Q These days you might well find no time to rest enough, yet how do you spend your holiday?
LMH I often hang out with my close people and friends, just chatting and having meals together, or I watch rental DVD movies, or play online games.

Q : What's the first thing you do in the morning?
LMH : I go to the bathroom still half asleep and brush my teeth. While I begin brushing with my eyes half open, I wake up.

Q : Reversely, what are the things you do before you go to sleep.
LMH : I turn on TV or my computer, and listening to music from the computer.. or watching a program on TV, I fall asleep.

Q : You mean you fall asleep with TV or the computer on?
LMH : Yes. I hate all the time until falling asleep except that I'm so tired as to get to sleep. Because I come to think too much, I like going to sleep using TV or the computer so that I don't have my head in the clouds.

Q: Do you remember what you dreamt recently?
LMH It's been like a long time since I dreamt something. It seems that I haven't dreamt any dream ever since BOF was started. Aha! I did..(as if something came to his mind) One time when I was sleeping in my car, I dreamt of a fire starting. As soon as I woke up, I started beating my coordinator, shouting to her, "Put it out!". And what's more, at another time, I ate Kimchi pot stew in my dream, and then upon waking up, said to someone next to me, "Give me some water. It's too salty."^^

Q Your dreams felt like reality ?
LMH Yes, they were very much like reality.

Q Do you wear pajamas while sleeping?
LMH I sleep in short pants or pajamas. When I am alone in my house, I often sleep only in underwear. But I prefer wearing short pants and a short T-shirt when my mom and sister stay with me at my home.

Q : This is a difficult question.. I wonder when you feel lonely, or listless and a little down, what you do, for example, take exercise on purpose or talk with your friends on the phone..
LMH : I think I do various things: do exercise, or watch TV programs or movies to give impetus to me, or a special program about a person to help me empower my life. When I'm spurred by watching them, I feel somewhat energized. It could happen that a person sometimes feels bored and uninterested while working. In that case, I watch such movies, which make me think, " Oh, I should not slack in my work. I should work harder" That helps me motivate myself.

Q: If you have any life mottos or philosophes from Korean proverbs, ...
LMH "Winners never quit, and quitters never win!" When I was in my childhood, my parents gifted me a flat spoon-shaped wall-souvenir from their wedding anniversary trip. This motto was written on it. I was very touched by the words even though I was a kid. Up till now, that has been my personal motto.

Q Which book would you recommend us, and would give us the reason why?
LMH : Lee Oi Soo's essay, Ha-Ahk-Ha-Ahk (Korean book). Even young kids can understand it easily. It presents many useful ideas expressed in a simple and fun way. That's why I recommend the book.

In the middle of it, it seems that Lee Min-ho's influence is the biggest to make many items hit including curly 'Gu Jun-pyo's hair-do'.

Nowadays there are many women that look for Lee Min-ho's wear to order for their husbands or boyfriends at each clothing stores. We think it's because of his 187㎝ height and western face. Q Which clothes do you choose as a usual thing?

LMH I prefer simple style. I like jeans so I often choose t-shirts or a hood with skinny jeans． I also like accessories so I frequently put on rings or hats. 　

Q It was supposed that you balanced in your choice with your tall height.

LMH I haven't done that. Some clothes were too small for me to wear from time to time. (laugh)．

Q Which color do you like?

LMH I like monotonous color. I used to mainly wear black, grey and white. I prefer to wear monotonous color like dark blue, ice grey with metal-feeling or black and dark colors. 　

Q Do you have any body complex?

LMH It's not as much as a complex. I'm careful about tight upper clothing or clothes with low necklines anyway. So I prefer to wear clothes like a white shirt. 　

Q What accessories would you recommend put on?

LMH My favorite thing is a ring． I usually have on a silver thing. I always wear my watch. When I feel flat with monotonous clothes, I put on a silver necklace or a hat． The past I usually had on a beanie, but nowadays I prefer a fedora. 　

Q What's your suggestion for this summer look?

LMH I think it's a jeans with a t-shirt and shoes that are simple and dandy like sneakers. And another thing! It's summer so it is neccessary to wear accessaries like hats or sunglasses, isn't it?

LMH practiced acting more than 20,000 hours

It's an entertainer that teenagers regard as the best job with envy nowadays. And according to the result of the investigation, if a man wants to succeed in any field, he needs to excercise for 10,000 hours.(It's from 'Outliers', the book that analyzed the secret of the top of the heap nowadays.) So does an entertainer. A few days ago, we met Lee min-ho, who achieved stardom through the ending drama ‘‘Boys Over Flowers'’ and answered his efforts of 10,000 hours.

Q Recently, according to the result of the investigation, to succeed in any field, he needs to pour out 10,000 hours in nothing else. What do you think, how much you pumped time into the acting till you could jump to stardom?

LMH Well, I didn't calculate time to pour out for acting since now. After I got down to act at 19, I have practiced all day long except if it's time to sleep and eat. to calculate practice time from that time, it is over 20,000 as I practiced about more than 14 hours for a day. Wow! I didn't know I had practiced much like this. (laugh) Yet I think it is more important how much I absorb in acting, although it is important to pour out many times. With the result that I have made many efforts to find an essential element for acting even to my daily life day and night, it seems that I can get the challenge awareness and self-confidence on acting.

Q Chance has nothing to do with your success on this work, not only because of good looks but efforts over 10,000 hours. But even then, you achieved stardom in a flash, do you seem to feel afraid?

LMH I feel delightful to gain many fans' affection with this work, but I also feel afraid because I wonder if I have quite the statue to do that. But I feel the responsibility to meet the concern and expectation much strongly than fear. So I am studying and preparing many things in order to overcome my week point to be born again as a better image, a mature actor.

Q In the case of Jang Dong-gun counted as the prettiest face in Korea, he was in agony because he thought his acting ability had paled into significance on account of his handsome looks. Are you worried about the same thing on this point of setting image "a pretty face" by filming "Boys Over Flowers"?

LMH Senior Jang Dong-gun... (laugh) So far, I don't think my acting ability is excellent like him. But as all of actors do, I also would like to keep long-run with my own color rather than my looks. For it, I think I have to be worried to choose the next work from now.

Q Say about Korean and foreign actors to look up to as your mentor.

LMH There are so many respectable actors, I have looked up to Leonardo DiCaprio as my mentor since the moment I decided to be an actor. He is the actor who has definitely various colors. He did each of different duties in many movies like ‘What's Eating Gilbert Grape’, ‘Titanic', ‘Revolutionary Road’ and so on, and he is excellent to change over each time. Maybe he shows his ability as an actor who has various colors through continuous challenge and efforts.

Q So far, do you have any role that you would like to play in the movie or drama in your memories?

LMH I would like to play the role 'Rusty' by Brad Pitt in the film 'Oceans 11' made by the director Steven Soderbergh. Rusty is an ace card sharp and teaches cheat skills to a master pickpocket Linus. The lines, “Look at one point but not stare. Be high in his favor but let him be forgettable as soon as you leave.", seems to help the understandings of the character. Rusty reads a person like a book and uses it. I remember admiring to do well the role to seem to be aware of a person's mind. I have my eye on the role.

***Now I will ask another questions besides acting.

Q What is the most difficult thing in your whole life?

LMH On 20, I received a severe wound from a car accident that stopped me from acting. At that time, I had thought lots of things in the hospital. Under the starting situation, it was a nothing even if I fluttered highly but how impatient I felt! I got upset very much, however, I thought optimistically. Nothing changes if it doesn't move. I thought 'On falling down, I would bump up again'.

Q If you were not an entertainer, What do you think which job you had?

LMH I thought I wanted to be a soccer player in my childhood because I was crazy about soccer that time. If I was not an actor, I guess I would be a soccer player and a member of the national team like the manager Cha Bum-geun.

Q You took an executive in 'Boys Over Flowers'. What do you think of an executive as a job?

LMH I think I'm so lucky I'm not a real executive.(laughing) Although it took just a short period, the executive, whom I played, should take the blame for his company, a large number of employees and their families. I think it is hard and difficult position that it need to learn many things and feel strong responsibility to manage a company in the cut throat competition.

Q This is the last question. What is the meaning of twenty for Lee Min-ho?

LMH I think twenty is the age to get a foothold that people can plan their dreams and put the clock forward. Water doesn't boil at 99℃, does it? As plenty of heat is needed to absorb to go up to 100℃, I think twenty is the time that people experience and prepare many things to make their dreams come true. In addition, in my case, I feel the importance for the responsibility to my choice so much. For the sake of doing that, I think it is important to keep on my right step by step. I wonder what another people think..

done with the certification... we're going live on monday... waaaaaahhhhh! everything is happening so fast... haven't we just started training? i don't wanna make call outs yet..

but i think i don't have a choice huh? i'm such a loser... huhuhuhuhu

i really wonder, when can i get back to posting my minho blogs? i've been so busy and i really can't find time to do that anymore... i'm so occupied studying, training, playing restaurant city, farmville and farmtown in facebook that i can no longer squeeze in my blogging. sigh...

i haven't got the feel yet of how it's gonna be making call outs in this new program so i really feel nervous... i suddenly miss being the operator in ameriprise, though i have to know all the departments' tasks, it's inbound and there's no quota so there's lesser pressure... i'm just pressured of the very short AHT but other than that, it's super duper easy... but for this new one, i really don't know what to expect..

but i'm hoping it would turn out fine..

hectic week???

yes... the past week had been so hectic...
i barely had time to post my blogs.. what a loser me..

we have transferred to hireright in shaw and i must say... the environment there is really different. there were some familiar faces... but most are really new to me. it doesn't feel like home unlike the office in libis. this is also my first time in an outbound program so it really feels new to me..

regarding the new program... i think the program itself is easy... you just have to call a source to verify information... but the tasks needed to complete the work is quite a lot and very time consuming... like documentation, locating numbers, thinking.. and manually dialling.. yes, they don't have an autodialer, so everything is manually dialled.. waaaaahhhh! but relatively, i think it's easy... sigh...

there's a lot more to learn.. and wednesday is certification already...

i was eating a pack of m&m's earlier when a sad thought suddenly struck me...
tomorrow, i'm off to a new program and i'm m&m no more...

for the second time, i'm transferring to a new program in etel... and now it's out of the blue box, after staying there for almost four years... training starts tomorrow at 1 p.m. in libis, but the program itself is in shaw... so i'll be transferring there soon also... i'm gonna miss my friends from rolex and m&m... :-(

sigh...

this is totally new to me... it's not a blue box program, not financial account, not for customer service and most of all, not in libis so i don't know what to expect... new program, new site, new team, new environment...

though i've heard several feedback about this new program (which mostly, if not all, are really negative), i'm still hoping for the best... as always.. aja! (^_^)v

All the people bring the roof down with a comet-like new face. The hero is Lee Min-ho(22). He achieved stardom at a bound from the on-air KBS 2TV's Mon-Tues drama series 'Boys Over Flowers'(writer Yoon Ji-ryun, producer Jun Ki-sang). No, he is arising a syndrome. He is more than women's dream and gains popularity to arouse unusual heat wind also to men. His past works EBS drama "The Secret Campus", SBS high teen drama "Run Mackerel!" and so on are in the news, and Japanese persons concerned show so far as hot interest in his past works.

But It isn't enough. There are a large number of fans to find his house and fans keep flowing in and out at his agency with only the reason that is him. It's countless that staffs should stop filming because of fans crowd at shooting lot. Even the elementary school freshmen shout "He is Gu Jun-pyo!" and rejoice.

I met Lee Min-ho who was the heartthrob for Koreans. He visited 'Money Today Star News' on 3rd afternoon. Tall and striking figure and clear-cut face. He turned on the charm that is stronger than flowers and faultless. Face is 'bling bling', and aura was radiated aroud his face like a scene of the comic book. He was 'Gu Jun-pyo' in the original comic 'Boy Over Flowers' itself. But he's the young Lee Min-ho, shy and healthy rather than the feature of the sophisticated rich man to be showed through TV.

-What is the meaning of 'Boys Over Flowers' to you?

▶ It is the best masterpiece. I have the masterpiece. It's the work that makes me the most public. It will remain in my memories through my whole life.

-You have got public affection for 'Flowers'. In my guess, there are many things to change.

▶ Right. A plenty of things. After the first episode, I need adaptable time for 2 weeks. I came to mind my p's and q's as much as I gained a number of interests.

-'Flowers' is going toward the end. Please give your impressions about only 8 episodes left.

▶ I saw it was the record for 137 days through the special air on 2nd. About 4 months passed. When I see the scene of the early air, I get feelings already as old days. Because it seems that my present tone is different from that time. Now I hope I can give it another brush to the end. I hope the end is good and gains as much affection. I seem to feel empty when it ends. Actors feel empty on ending work. In this case, I may feel lonely because it is too empty.

-I wonder what you think about the appraisal of 'Clear-cut Guy', 'Ultra Flower Boy'

▶ Frankly speaking, it lays a burden on me. I also pay careful attention of expression so much. In fact, I wanna hear I'm attractive rather than handsome. Am I clear-cut? I hope I seem very likable.

-Do you have any dissatisfaction for your face?

▶ I have nothing to complain about it. I think clear-cut features is not always attractive and anyone should have his own charm.

-'Gu Jun-pyo' heat wind is hotter and hotter daily. Did you expect that?

▶ I expected a little. The original work has come into the spotlight and Tsukasa (Gu Jun-pyo) is quite a good character, so I thought I might gain good reaction as long as I did hard. But I didn't imagine it would be as big as this.

-Now what is F4 to Lee Min-ho? I wonder the meaning of the presence.

▶ Well, it's difficult to answer. It is natural. I think I don't put meaning to F4, but to companions that are partners of joys, sorrows and go together for many hours.

-Your past pictures have spreaded through the internet with the penalty of fame.

▶ I used to get upset. Now I'm so still. I think it's a kind of curse to a star. I think they're interested in everything anout me. I take it positively.

-Gu Jun-pyo's turban shell hair-do is on fashion. Is there any worry about strong image?

▶ I don't think I will stick to this style. I am trying to change my hair little by little. In fact, when I change my hair style, F4 members also say to look awkward. Guess how surprised the viewers may be.

-You have a sincere heart to 'Geum Jan-di in the drama. I wonder how your love style is.

▶ My real style is similar to the drama. My character is simple and I can't play double minutely. I meet only one. (loyal? gooood!!! :D )

-What is your ideal style?.

▶ It is like Song Hye-gyu. I like the very style contrary to me. Smallish girl captures my eyes.

-Is there any actor or actress you wanna work together? (Lee Min-ho got 10 scenarios at least.)

▶ Once I said to Jung Il-woo I wanted to shoot the movie like 'Rough Cut'. And I hope to perform with Sul Kyung-gu who acted in 'Public Enemy Returns'. Although I didn't get a chance to keep time with him, I hope I agree in tone together, learn and gain many things from him.

-I wonder what your view of acting is.

▶ I have a dream that I will be an actor to be respectable from twenty juniors on 30. And I would like to be an actor to meet various images. I also hope I will be an actor to cross good and evil, a performer to do extreme acting. I feel attractive to an extreme role. I'm worrying about it so much.

-I guess you feel burden about the next work due to big affection through 'Boys Over Flowers'.

▶ Right. But so far 'Boys Over Flowers' doesn't end, so I don't think about another work. I hope I can choose freely anything, it's a drama or a movie. It is my question that I should break through Gu Jun-pyo's image and go forward. Maybe I will reward fans with a good work after it.

-Before acting, did you expect you could get affection from all the people like this?

▶ I'm positive. I have always thought wishfully that someday I could make my day.

-Please, give performers to dream 'Second Lee Min-ho' a piece of advice.

▶ It makes me unbecoming. Keep cultivating your own garden and someday chances will come. And I hope you always think positively to see good results.

i was still in the office early this morning when i heard the news that former president Cory Aquino has passed away. though it was kind of expected, it was still shocking to hear it really happened...

Maria Corazon "Cory" Cojuangco Aquino (January 25, 1933 – August 1, 2009) was a President of the Philippines and a world-renowned advocate of democracy, peace, women's empowerment, and religious piety. She served as the 11th president of the Philippines from 1986 to 1992. She was the first female president of the Philippines and was Asia's first female president. Aquino died of cardiopulmonary arrest after complications of colon cancer at the age of 76 on August 1, 2009, 3:18 a.m., at the Makati Medical Center.

Lee Min-Ho, an overnight star in "Boys Over Flowers"

Lee Min-ho(22), the role 'Gu Jun-pyo' who is the heir to Korea's No. 1 conglomerate group, is writing over the myth of youth stars in KBS 2TV's Mon-Tues drama series 'Boys Over Flowers'.

With a bling face and a solid acting ability, he secures wide fan classes from babies to the elderly exceptionally to show off the typical "Prince Charming" of the boy-meet-girl comic book, despite of the teenager-oriented drama. He did a main lead for passing a 30% viewer rating. In addition, he makes a boast of soaring popularity and pay scale to appear in cellular phone, mobile communication, doughnuts and confections CFs as he broke the unwritten law that no one can work on similar items CF.

Even if it was supposed that he was tired of straight all-night shooting, his face was full of pep and his looks had too much nobleness. His curly hair (so-called a turban shell hair-do) became shorter a little bit. Gu Jun-pyo was promoted from a spoiled high-school student to an executive director of Shinhwa. We met Lee Min-ho at a hotel's cafe in Seoul on the 18th in afternoon. His own spoiled character was completely out of sight. He answered the questions with an optimistic and affable smile and honest attitude.

Q : You are riding high...

LMH Ealier, I didn't know because I kept coming and going only to the shooting spot and my house. But nowadays I feel it anyway, and fans flock into a location and I put my signature about 100 sheets of paper a day. Once I entered in to the boned rib restaurants with my manager, the empty place became full of customers in a second because of Gu Jun-pyo. I feel wonderful that elementary school students are carrying a bromide photograph of Gu Jun-pyo.

Q : You seem to be losing weight than the past.

LMH I lost about 4㎏ of my weight. Maybe because of lack of sleep. On sleeping badly, I sleep for 1~2 hours a day. 3~4 hours is too much sleep. But for the first time, I took a rest for two days last weekend after starting the shooting because scenes filmed in Macao will air on this week. It is very helpful to take a nap in the middle of shooting. a 10-minute nap is necessary. Even if hard time is coming at night... Ha Ha Ha~
His manager said, “He will do absolutely a good job to appear at ‘1 night 2 days’ because he is doing overnight-acting each day. He is quite trained to keep awake all night through, so he may have his eyes wide open”.

Q : So far you have appeared in several works and you are a star overnight through 'Boys Over Flowers'.

LMH I feel better that I can gain big affection like this after 7 works. People seem to think that I paid attention with 'Boys Over Flowers' but I have underwent hardships. I was involved in a traffic accident in 2006 and SBS sitcom "Run Mackerel !" ran short. KBS 2TV ‘I am Sam’, the movie ‘Public Enemy Returns’ and ‘Our School ET’ busted. But I think past trials led me to what I am now. I am pleased that also Park Bo-young and Moon Chae-won, appeared together in the movie ‘An English Teacher’, gained a success of the next works. Bo-young is my friend and we keep in contact with each other once a week. Recently I met Chae-won again to film Levi's CF and she said “You feel best. Now you may hang around carefully.” and congratulated.(laugh)

Q : Did you expect you could be loved like this? What do you think is he secret of your popularity and your charm?

LMH I just thought 'I will gain interest as far as it goes' because of attractive character, but I didn't imagine something like this. It is difficult to meet the work in the whole life and I think I'm lucky. My dream was to be a soccer player from middle school to freshman. I decided to be an actor in my high school days and my dream came true. It seems that Gu Jun-pyo's various features, his extremly supreme and pure love toward only one woman, cheerful and mischievous face, can get lots of affection even though he was cold when he's needed. My charms? Well. Umm. I guess those are my eyes. One day, I had a chance to read the reply 'the actor to express with only his eyes' under the article about my acting. It was the most pleasing applause.

Q : What is the most difficult thing on shooting?

LMH Lack of sleep. There are many things to do even at break times, for example, to film CFs, to put my signature. On feeling like a wet rag, it is in fact that everything bothers me. At the early shooting, it isn't easy to adapt myself physically. My mother takes care of me with healthy food, oriental medicine, pear juice and red ginseng and so on. Oh. I also take 'Gongjindang'. It is the mainspring of my activity. Ha Ha Ha. Time jumped in the drama, so the writer and the director ordered I would act calmy and with dignity. But the way of talking is as if old, and I'm worried about it a little.

Q : According to the news, it is expected that you can earn the income over 2 billion won for ads. What will you do with the money?

LMH There is nothing to deposit…. Ha ha. In fact, I have hardly time to spend money except holidays, so I am on the side of spending money less than the past. I used to make a bet on snack with F4 at filming lot. When I get the CF guarantee, I would like to buy a magnificent mansion. And then, although there may be few money left, I will buy my clothes. I'm not a best dresser but I'm interested in fashion.

Q : Do the awful love and popularity happen to lay a burden on you?

LMH It is the thing that everyone dreams. I feel good and happy rather than burdened. I think I have to get out of the image 'Gu Jun-pyo' and show off the new feature through another work in the future. Maybe I should concentrate my attention on 'Boys Over Flowers' by the end. My agency doesn't mention the next work to me in order to do all in this drama.

Q : How do you see yourself 10 years from now?

LMH I would like to get married at that time. My Mrs. Right is pure and smallish girl. And I may also be focusing on filming. My wanna-be actors are Senior Sul Kyung-gu and Kim Su-ro. They act well, and maybe I'll get a little close to them since 10 years has passed? Senior Kim Su-ro gave me a lot of advice on filming ‘An English Teacher’ together. Especially, his word “You should be in earnest with Taegeukgi on your heart" is still green in my memory. He said it was proud that we could perform acting in the recession like now, so we had to always do our best. I watched the his play ‘on the bottom’ thanks to shooting off last Sunday.

Q : It is the talk of the internet these days that you took pictures in the past not only in school days.

LMH I stew about the bombastic articles with pictures on the internet. I think I do damage to my friends because of those things taken by the surrounding people. Originally, to take pictures is my favorite thing, so it was misunderstood that I uploaded pictures taken with friends of mine on my cyworld personal blog. But on the other hand, I used to think that many people are interested in me like that.

Q : What is the next plan?

LMH I hope the viewer rating continues to rise up. I should top off to the end. I love to act in a serious traditional drama. The role as macho or psychopath is all right. I would like to show off various characters free from image. I will make effort to be a good actor to return too much affection.

another busy week

i will not able to blog much this week, again, because i'll be working 5 days straight. yes, i didn't file for any leave surprisingly.. hehehe :D

a lot of my friends have been saying lately that i'm just blogging about lee min ho... that it's always about lee min ho... they're even asking if i've been paid to do that.. of course not, and i don't need money to do that... i'm doing it because i want to do it.. all for the love of my min ho.. hihihi :D

so today, for my complaining friends, i won't be blogging about him..
but that's just for today.. hahaha :D

so let me just tell you what happened to me recently... last saturday, we had our team GA at redbox in trinoma. we grabbed the eat, drink and sing all you can promo from 12 noon - 3 pm. everybody was there, it was so much fun! here are some pictures:

in line with my bof addiction... comes the KPOP fever... yes, lately, these korean pop groups have been dominating the charts both in the radio and the television (mtv, myx, etc.). like this one group, wondergirls... i heard their song "nobody" when i attended an induction party last july 11. and since then, the song has been playing in my head over and over again. in other words, na-LSS ako as in Last Song Syndrome. a lot of my officemates have been asking for this song and i've sent a lot via blue tooth.. hehe and look, they've got this cute video too:

yes... my korean name is Eun Hye.. i just found out that grace in korean is 은혜 which is read as Eun Hye. i therefore conclude that my full name is... Lee Eun Hye.. i love it!!! hahaha :D

i really like that name so much! mainly because one of my most favorite korean actresses is Yoon Eun Hye a.k.a. "janelle" in the tagalized version of Princess Hours in abscbn. so we have the same first name in real life.. hihi :)

LEE MIN HO's Growth Story

What were the childhood years of Lee Min-ho from “Boys Over Flowers” like? All eyes are on his past, who is enjoying the greatest popularity as Gu Jun-pyo in “Boys Over Flowers”.

Recently, what he was like in the past, from the time he attended high school to an affectionate picture taken with his girlfriend, has become the first priority concern of the “Netizen investigation group.” IS daily has exclusive pictures of Lee Min-ho’s childhood years.

From the first birthday banquet to kindergarten party to family vacations in elementary school years, his entire childhood years were reconstructed through pictures. Introduction of “Pleasant and happy days raising Lee Min-ho”, which Lee Min-ho’s mother tells her story through Star House Entertainment, the entertainment company he is affiliated with, as well as episodes, were added.

Though he was not that tall when he was young, being a little taller than the average, as he grew he got taller and his physique became better as well. In the first birthday banquet which was held in a rented banquet hall in Seoul, Min-ho picked up the pencil. The father of Min-ho was overjoyed, expecting him to grow up to be an honor student. Later on, after he had been brought up, his talents were found to be not in academics but in acting.

A decent amount of congratulatory money came in, as well as first birthday rings, maybe because he was the first born son. Min-ho had no interest in the foods on the table such as seaweed soup, various kinds of rice cakes, or fried dishes prepared wholeheartedly at home. He fretted saying he wanted the Coke-flavored ice cream bar that his sister sitting beside him was having. After it was given to him, he smiled brightly.

Min-ho’s childhood nickname that his family used to call him by was “dark-skinned boy.” It was a nickname given to him because he had such big eyes and was more dark-skinned and cuter than the other boys. He had amicable relationship with his sister Yun-jung. He rarely fought with his sister during childhood. On the day that their father bought the cake, the two of them sits side-by-side and poses on top of a table in the living room.

Like Jun-pyo in “Boys Over Flowers”, Min-ho couldn’t swim at all. He was a timid child, and to get him near the water, such as getting him on to a banana boat, the entire family had to calm him down and encourage him. After his mother and sister convinced him that going into water is not something to be afraid of, he reluctantly wore sunglasses and a life jacket, but he is looking sulky.

Min-ho was shy and timid child, so nobody expected him to be an entertainer in their wildest dreams. Even singing a single song took him many practice sessions at home with his mother in advance.

Watching Min-ho from afar, singing the practiced song wearing traditional Korean clothes, I was proud, but at the same time I was nervous that he might not finish singing the song. Though Min-ho was a very timid child, going onto junior high, he met a lot of friends, and he became active and outgoing.

Since going onto elementary school, he liked to go to the mountains and to the plains as he learned how to play soccer. His mother often used to go hiking with him, to make him have an active personality. He liked to eat meat, and when beef or boned rib was roasted for him, he would eat 2 to 3 servings in one sitting in no time.

In the summer, he liked to go hunting for insects. Reddish-brown-colored skin, as if sun tanned, coupled with the “V” pose that he does every time he feels embarrassed, are fun. Straight hair, which is completely different from the curly hair in “Boys Over Flowers”, catches the eye.

Since junior high, Min-ho was quite popular among his peers, thanks to his good looks. Even among friends of his sister Yun-jung, he was known as “handsome little brother of Yun-jung,” and was very popular.

Min-ho, who made his acting debut in the second year of high school as a trainee, was quite devoted to school life as well. He got along with his classmates like an ordinary student. Although his features are the same as before, his face with pimples that look colorful is fun.

hmmm... i actually didn't notice the pimples in his last picture... i really can't see any... am i blinded??? hehe i think he looks astonishing and gorgeous as always... hihi :D

The second half year of 2009 has already started.~

On June 21st… I had the chance to meet you guys. Also, I made a lot of preparation in order to show you my new appearance in the meeting. Now I try to recall the day, and it was like a dream. It is the very first time that so many fans gathered together to see me only on the stage so I was a little nervous indeed.^^

It’s too bad that I could not show you what I had prepared, though the preparatioin was not flawless. Also, I had made some mistakes. Maybe you did not notice them.^^

After that day.. For many of you, who have been staying by me, I promise to make more preparation in the future.

In my opinion, to remain the same and not change does not mean to stay where I am now but to maintain my own self and then step forward. If I can be with all Minoz together, there is nothing to be afraid of ! Again, I ask for all your support and love continuously.

sigh.. once again i'm so speechless.. his kindness is so overwhelming! i've never seen an actor this kind.. oh wait, actually there's one more actor like him -- wu chun.. not because i like him too.. but because he's really kind. we've seen that when they visited the philippines in july last year for the romantic princess promotion. he also has his own blog that i visit from time to time and you'll see there messages too for his fans. i've read most of them and i even saw some tagalog words there that made me so proud being one of his filipino fans.. well i just hope, they both won't change despite their unimaginable success in the business..

i wasn't able to blog that much last week because i was kinda busy.. haha as if! :D

no, actually, i just had to work 5 days straight so i didn't have much time to create entries. then during the weekend, we didn't have dial tone so i also cannot connect to the internet thru dsl.. grrrrr!

sigh..

so how am i doing? well.. still the same... undecided as always.. i dunno whether i should be transferring to another company now or just wait and see where they'll take me. but being the lazy me, i'd rather continue working than undergo another application process.. haha :D i still hate mondays.. like today, coz it signals start of work again... and of course, i'm still addicted to lee min ho.. :)
